I was introduced to yoga in 2021 at the age of 52. After spending 30+ years sitting behind a desk, I embraced fitness in my fifties and haven't looked back. As a result of a running injury, I was given a few yoga poses to try at home, and was amazed by the immediate benefits. From there came yoga classes, and the rest is history. Through yoga, I have not only found physical benefits, but have also found indescribable peace on my mat. I have received my RYT200 in November of 2024 and currently teach slower, more introspective classes. It is an honor to witness students embracing yoga, getting reacquainted with themselves, and letting go of what no longer serves them. Regardless of where you find yourself on life's journey, yoga is for you and we would love for you to practice with us at Humble Heart.
My family is originally from Kentucky (Go Cats!), but have been in Clarksville for over 25 years. I can be found at the gym, the studio, or with my family and our three dogs. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my granddaughter.
I look forward to seeing you on your mat!
